Amy O2024-06-28Candle Making Class We had a wonderful time during the candle making class. Small group and personalized attention. Quick history lesson on Banner Elk. Beautiful shop and highly recommend.Lindsey O2024-01-30Great for girl’s trips! Such a sweet family owned business! Nice people! The soaps and candles are made in house. William is great - loved the class!Brittney M2023-12-14Amazing 🤩 Charlotte was incredible! Her knowledge and sense of humor made the candle pouring experience so much fun and memorable!!!Kelley B2023-12-11Not just a candle and soap shop. It’s an EXPERIENCE!! It’s not “just a candle and soap shop!” It’s an Experience! I originally thought, why make a candle when you can just buy one? Living here two years, I had never stepped foot in the shop, however, my mother only likes vanilla candles, and I had not found any that I particularly liked. I thought, why not make Mother a hand- poured candle for Christmas? So off I went to explore the shop. Wow! What I found was not anything like I thought I would. Handmade soaps, hand-poured candles, lotions, gifts, and other interesting items greeted me. The new owner of the shop, his wife and new baby were actually there and he explained to me about the candle making classes. I’m going to go and actually make my mother a special candle for Christmas! I am so excited! It will mean more to her that I actually spent time making it (remember when you were a kid and made things for your mom that she treasured??) than just buying one off the shelf in a store somewhere. I will definitely be back, and I encourage you to check it out for yourself. While you’re there, check out the shop next-door, too! Owned by the same family, this shop has many different types of T-shirts that you can have printed (or buy already done!), gifts, and fun little items that can be used for stocking stuffers! I encourage you to run by both of the stores and check out all of the different items that they have! Supporting small businesses is very important, and when you actually get something really neat in the process, it’s win-win for everyone! Kelley BagwellEmily R2023-12-09So much fun! Not only did I learn to scent and pour a candle, we were also given a brief history lesson of the area and the local names given to some of the scents. Students then received 25% off other merchandise in the store which included a nice selection of local T-Shirts as well as soaps, candles & bath bombs. Enjoy this sweet locally owned & run shop!Susan T2023-10-05Family time learning experience Amazing place, got a great history lesson and lovely couple. Had a great time with my granddaughter.Jessica P2023-09-22Cute little shop, smells amazing! Cute little store with lots of choices for gifts or for yourself. They offer a pour your own candle option that we passed on since the minimum age is 6 and my kiddo is 3. Still happy we stopped to shop.
